UCAS
St Joseph’s College has maintained an excellent relationship with UCAS and provides a thorough programme of support for pupils who wish to attend a university in Great Britain.
Preparation for UCAS applications starts near the end of Year 12 when students are asked to register online with UCAS. Students work through the pre-application toolkit ULAS (Universal Leavers Application Service), which supports students with CV building and work experience, during UCAS Assemblies, Life skills days and selected tutorial periods.
The Sixth Form also subscribes to the Unifrog application support programme. Students use a filter system to match themselves to university degrees and/or apprenticeships and are supported through the application process.
