Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education is a crucial aspect of education that provides young people with the knowledge, skills, and values they need to make informed decisions, navigate the complexities of relationships, and manage their physical and mental health and well-being. - Develop positive attitudes and values towards themselves and others, in line with St Joseph’s five Respects
- Provide opportunities for students to apply their learning to real-life situations and experiences and develop their critical thinking and reflection skills.

- Dedicated PSHE tutor time delivered by tutors
- Whole-school initiatives, including PSHE Days and assemblies
- Partnerships with external providers, such as NHS Croydon, charities, and other professionals

Our PSHE programme is evaluated and monitored regularly, through students and staff feedback, tutor time observation, and outcomes assessment. We use a range of tools to measure the impact of our PSHE programme, including:
- Student surveys and feedback forms
- Teacher observation and support
- Student self-assessment in tutor time and on PSHE Days
Roles and responsibilities:
