Duke of Edinburgh
St Joseph's College is proud to offer students the opportunity to participate in the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award, a prestigious and challenging programme designed to help young people develop essential life skills.
The award encourages personal growth through a combination of volunteering, skill-building activities, physical challenges and a group expedition. At St Joseph's, students are supported throughout the journey by experienced staff, with opportunities to engage in a range of activities that promote teamwork, leadership, and resilience. Participation in the DofE Bronze Award is open to all students in Year 9 and above. We feel that it not only enriches students' academic experience but also equips them with valuable skills for future success, making it a highly regarded addition to their personal development. If you would like further information regarding DofE or would like to enquire about how your child can get involved please do not hesitate to contact our Duke of Edinburgh Co-ordinator, Mr Russell: [email protected] Here is a link to the Duke of Edinburgh website for more information: https://www.dofe.org/ |
