St Joseph’s College has maintained an excellent relationship with UCAS and provides a thorough program of support for pupils who wish to attend a university in Great Britain.
Preparation for UCAS applications starts near the end of Year 12 when students are asked to register online with UCAS. Students work through the pre-application toolkit on UCAS Assemblies, Life skills days and tutor periods are set aside to run through the ULAS (Universal Leavers Application Service) program which supports students with CV building and work experience.
The 6th Form also subscribes to the Unifrog application support programme. Students use a filter system to match themselves to university degrees and/or apprenticeships and are supported through the application process.
