Latest News from Ms Yorkston:
After a very early start we arrived in Benalmadena, a coastal town in Andalucia in the south of Spain. We started off by exploring the local area, walking along the beach to the Marina where we surveyed the fabulous yachts. After an impromptu game of football we headed back to the hotel for a delicious buffet meal.
On day two we visited the magnificent Alhambra Palace in Granada - where the boys were totally bowled over the intricate and opulent carvings and stunning architecture. In the evening we went to Malaga where we experienced the traditional delights of Spanish tapas - they were able to enjoy the ambiance of Malaga by night as we walked through the town.
On day three we went to school! The boys wowed the Spanish teachers with their excellent conversational Spanish before visiting the typical Andalucian village of Mijas in the afternoon. The boys initially explored the town on donkeys and then went souvenir shopping in the white-washed village shops. One of our boys turned thirteen and we celebrated in the evening with a special birthday cake prepared by the hotel staff.
On day four we have another fun-packed day - back to school, a visit to an animal adventure park where we will be able to see many wild animals. The final evening will be spent at the bowling alley.
Our final day will be spent souvenir shopping for gifts before flying back to London.
The trip has been a huge success so far and look out for more photos on the website.
