Snowfall
By Haider Ali Dar Class 7.5

The heavens open from above,
throwing down tons of fun.
So gently it fell like fluffy feathers floating down,
Wanting to carpet the ground.

Bare trees all around with scatters of snow falling down.
Red flowers, green grass, all of that is now in the past.
No delay for children to go out and play.
BANG! Hits the face with no care
Snowballs fly high up in the air.

Problems start to create
And all the excitement will soon break.
Because life is stuck and people are fed up,
So they wish for all the snow
To get up and GO!

Disappearing Snow
By Syed Ali Hussain Zaidi Class 7.4

Snow is white, snow is soft, snow is cold, snow is bold.
Soft slow snow falling gently from the sky,
Snow walks slow as slug.
Snow is growing high.
Oh look the wind is blowing Whoooo.......!

The snow is now ice, as slippery as a slide,
Someone's fallen!
Next morning wet as water flows.

The Snow
by Eoin McMahon Class: 7.6

The snow, silently floating from the heavens,
The snow, like an enormous dove covering the sky,
The snow, gracefully lying on the ground as if sleeping.

The snow, being rolled into snowballs and chucked through the air,
The snow, blissfully covering the roofs of houses like a white blanket,
The snow, "Splat" hitting the sides of cars
The snow, aggravating drivers,
The snow, so much fun to play in.

The Snowflake
By Aman Dhamrait Class 7.5

I woke up in the morning on a cold winter's day, drew back my curtains.
A magical world is out there, ready to be discovered.
Everything is covered by a thick blanket of snow, all cosy and white.

I stared out of the window and watched the snow dance across the street as the wind blew gently.
A little bird flew and hopped across leaving a trail of footprints.

I stepped outside, the snow crunched beneath my feet, Crunch! Crunch! Crunch!
As I held out my hand a snowflake landed softly onto the palm of my hand, then slowly faded away.
