Budding Journalists Visit Local Magazine

A small team of intrepid sixth formers journeyed to the local magazine offices of Croydon publication, YouthWise Magazine. YouthWise is a new, dynamic and enterprising youth magazine for young people run by young people.

Aimed at 13-19 year olds the editorial team is comprised of young people in this age group who have a diverse range of backgrounds with skills encompassing administration, expressive arts, athletics and media.

The aim of the trip was to give the pupils a real insight into what it would be like to work for a magazine. The students got more than they bargained for when they were asked to plan an article each for the next edition of the magazine. The following pupils are writing for YouthWise:
