The ability to use a computer in today’s world is essential in all walks of life. All our everyday life is regulated by the use of computers. Our teachers are all highly qualified and have expertise in the delivery all courses. It is our intention to provide active lessons allowing students to not only learn different computer skills, but also understand how these skills can be used in other subjects and learning areas throughout the school.

The ICT department at St. Joseph's College aims to be a dynamic and exciting environment for the students, bringing out the best in every child and helping them to achieve success and excellence. Practical “real life” scenarios are often used to highlight how these lifelong skills can be used and adapted for the workplace.

A large proportion of our students go on to higher education to study ICT, Computing or a similar ICT/Business related subject to degree level. The employment prospects of students who have a degree in ICT are excellent in all fields.
