All students in Year 7 and 8 have two class music lessons a week. In year 9 students are taught once a week in smaller groups.

GCSE music students are time tabled 3 periods a week and have individual tuition on their instruments.

AS and A2 level students are time tabled 6 periods a week and have individual tuition on their instrument.

The focus of these lessons is placed on performance, composition and listening and appraising in accordance with the National Curriculum.
