There are a number or extra Curricular activities that students can get involved with, including musical concerts and recitals, clubs and choirs and orchestras.

SJC Band

The school orchestra performs at various events during the year including the Carol Concert, Summer Fete and Summer Concert. Rehearsals are held once a week on Thursday afternoons and sectional rehearsals are held at various times during the week. To be a member of the orchestra students should be grade 2/3 or above on their instruments.

Chapel Choir 

The Chapel Choir rehearses on Tuesday afternoons from 3pm to 4pm. These boys have been selected to join the choir because of their singing talents. Besides performing regularly at school concerts, the choir also takes part in sung mass and services in the school chapel and  parishes within the community. Anyone wanting to join the chapel choir should have an audition with Mr Horsman who runs the Chapel Choir.

Concert Choir

The Concert Choir meet on Friday lunch times. They sing popular songs which they perform at various celebrations and performances during the school year. Everyone is welcome to come and sing with the concert choir.
